overdoin’ the dead

praises sang

poetry constructed
within poems

from the so – called
greats of the day
it’s all
in good faith
they say;

adoration is a
fluid concept

and you know that
a lie is at it’s best
when there’s belief,

so it comes to this :

speaking for the
dearly departed
that can never say
anything any more so
we romanticize,

in good faith.

and in good faith
they’d sent the call;
last chance today to
pay your respect

and you from the gutter
who can never see
the lighter side
of this,

goodluck to your
revolution.

i will see you
on the other side
of the fence.
